WarpRun Release

After an intense 3 Days of focused development, I’m excited to release my jam game: WarpRun – a fast-paced platformer built entirely during Speed Jam #10, under the theme “Loop.”
WarpRun throws you into a level that isn't static – it's constantly evolving.
Each time you complete the course, you’re warped back to the starting point – but something’s different.
-
On your first run, the level is a straightforward obstacle course.
-
On the next runs, new shortcuts open up.
-
And the deeper you go, the more the level transforms – faster, tighter, and more dynamic.
The more loops you complete, the more fluent and instinctive your movement becomes. Learning the level is key – but adapting to its changes is even more crucial for getting the best time.
Throughout the course, you’ll find temporary upgrades:
-
Higher jumps
Stronger Dash
-
Faster movement
But they come at a cost: they’re placed off the main route and take extra time to reach. So you’ll need to decide – is that boost worth the detour?
WarpRun was created from the ground up in just 3 days using Unity and C#, with a focus on:
-
Tight movement
-
Momentum-driven platforming
-
A looping structure that keeps players engaged run after run
The visuals are kept minimalistic to maintain clarity at high speed, and the audio/FX were kept lightweight to stay within the jam scope.
